  Avocado-Serrano Salsa

This salsa is served as a dollop atop a thick soup. The hotness of the seranno pepper offset by the avocado and the piquancy of the lime compliments the milder flavored soup.

Ingredients

2 Large avocados (about 1 pound), peeled and chopped
¼ Cup fresh lime juice
1 Ripe tomato, diced
3 Tablespoons minced red onion
4 Teaspooons minced serrano chile, with seeds
2 Teaspoons minced fresh cilantro
Teaspoons salt

Process

Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
