Salsa Recipes Mexican Salsa
his favorite Mexican salsa is served as a dip with tortillas. The various ingredients maintain their textures and play off each other. This is a great salsa for late summer when tomatoes are ripe, delicious and abundant.

Tablespoons finely diced white onion

Ripe tomato, chopped
|
|

Serrano chiles, finely diced, with seeds
|

Tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro

Teaspooons sugar
|

Tablespoon fresh lime juice
|

Process
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add an additional
dash of sugar if the tomato is acidic. Chill for about 30
minutes before serving.
